Recharge your energy: tips to stay motivated when working from home Working from home is no longer a new term for anyone throughout the pandemic, yet we might still become demotivated sometimes because of doing the same things in the same place every day. When you feel burned out from sitting in front of the computer for 8 hours long, it is a sign to take a break and relax your mind. Because only if you spend time taking care of your mind, body, and soul, then you can be the best version of yourself and achieve your goals. But if you feel bored of doing the same routine, check out these ideas to make every day different.

1. Meditate for 10 minutes
Meditation functions as a form of physical, emotional, psychological, personal and spiritual self-care. While it gives our brain a small work-out that helps prepare us to handle stress in a healthier way, meditation is also a practice to train yourself to slow down and observe, enjoy what life brings to you.

2. Turn up the music and dance it out
Dancing is good for you, both physically and mentally. Not only does it help burn some calories, keeping our bodies fit and healthy but also keeping our mind active and increasing positive emotions.

3. Go out for a walk
Taking a break and going for a walk is a very effective way to recharge your energy. Walking increases the oxygen flow in your body, while also improving your mood. It also opens up a free flow of ideas and is a simple way to increase creativity and get physical activity at the same time.

4. Take a hot bath
A hot shower or bath is all you need when trying to release tension and stiff muscle as it gives a mini massage on your head, shoulders, neck, and back. After a hot bath, headaches or anxiety will surely be reduced and you will be feeling good all around!

6. Make yourself a smoothie

7. Enjoy your favorite TV show

8. Treat yourself to a home-spa
Every now and then, it is so necessary to treat yourself some me-time. Having a regular spa session right at your home can largely lighten your mood and increase your happiness levels. When your muscles are relaxed, blood pressure is stabilized and heart rate is normalized, they all contribute to a light, comfortable feeling that leads to a good night’s sleep.

Some simple home-spa routines could be: a total facial and body treatment including cleansing, exfoliating, applying face mask and moisturizing. It can also be as simple as using a few drops of essential oil for your relaxing bath or lighting a candle and take a few deep breaths in front of it.

1. When you wake up don’t rush anything. First, drink some water, do a little stretch and enjoy the view out of the window.

2. If you feel anxious or stressed, take a deep breath (in and out). Repeat this at least 5 times (believe me, you will manage to calm yourself down).

3. Take regular short breaks (a few minutes are sufficient). Stretch, short meditation, just sit quietly but take your focus away from finishing/working on the task.

4. Write down what you want to achieve in a day, week, month and tick them off when achieved! This will help to visualize your achievements better. #smallwinsmatter

5. Wear comfy clothes and go for a walk in nature!
